I can already picture these two causing trouble together. Bugging the girls on family birthday parties, maybe even serving a mission together as companions like their Daddies?

just a few impressions...we spent most of our time in the pool in the backyard trying to stay cool. We also had some great days at the beach, in the zoo and together with family. Now we're anxiously awaiting the birth of our little bundle of joy.

It´s been 4 years since I last saw my best girlfriends. We saw each other last at my wedding and now Beccy was in Germany and we all managed to get together for a day. We had such a fun time...laughing, catching up and of course some good food! :) It´s great how you can talk and it feels like you´ve never been apart. I love you girls and I hope we see each other again soon! Für ein richtiges Fressgelage dann...haha!

I wonder if the guy from the series "Dirty Jobs" ever spent a day with a mom. :) I just had to think of it today while I changed a diaper that I shouldn't describe in detail in public. Today I was covered with drool, food, boogers and pee. In my hair I found cereal, I stepped into raisins Laneah chewed on but decided not to swallow but spit on the floor instead and she colored on my arm. She wipes her fingers on my pants and I change shirts at least as often as she does. If you ever think you have a dirty job, be a mom for a day and you'll never complain again. haha
Don't get me wrong - I'm not complaining. Even with cereal in my hair, another sticky thing under my foot and dirty pants I am still enjoying the journey. I'm just telling myself that one day I will miss those things and laugh my way through it.
My mom has a quote in her kitchen that says: This house is clean enough to be healthy and dirty enough to be happy. I like that.

We spent some days in Germany and one of the main reasons was my good friend Kristin's wedding. She was a beautiful bride , the sealing ceremony was so special and it was so good to see her and Iris again after almost 4 years now. Even though we haven't seen each other for so long it felt like it was just yesterday we hung out last. I love you girls!

It's been a while but here are finally some Panhuyzen Easter impressions. We had a great time with my parents over at our place! Laneah loved the easter eggs in the backyard so much that once in a while she hides them again and acts all surprised when she finds them.

... but hers is actually so little! This is how Laneah sleeps most of the time. I've actually seen more kids sleep like that. It's not comfortable at all. Try it! I used to sleep like that too when I was little. Here's the proof:

We can't wait for spring and summer to come. Laneah is such a girl. She loves all kinds of jewelry, purses and of course sunglasses.
