Halloween Eye Spy Bottle
What a great idea. I'll make one for Laneah for church. Not a Halloween one, she doesn't know what Halloween is, but a princess one would totally get her attention. :) Get the tut here.

Acorn crafts
I can't decide which ones to do first. We gathered plenty of caps and tomorrow we'll see what works out best.
The felted ones are from Betzy White (heart all her creations) If you want to make them from yarn try this tutorial.
The tutorial for the fabric ones can be found here.

Nesting instinct
This is the wall in the baby room. We actually planned to do some cool animals but after a while I figured I am not that artistic to draw animals like here. So I thought a tree and butterflies would be cute. The birdhouse can also be turned into a lamp. Easy and cheap project!
A cute pink little sweater knitted after a Drops pattern.
This little jacket is a Phildar pattern but I don't like the color too much. I'll make another dark purple one with long sleeves for the fall and winter.
A little summer hat. I hope there will still be some warm days ahead so she can wear it.
The diaper bag is a pattern from Amy Butler. I absolutely love that pattern. It was so much work but it was worth it!
Okay, this one is for Daddy. Paddy will NOT go change the baby with my girly diaper bag, so I made him this one.

You can store enough for changing the little one. Diapers, wet wipes, lotion and the changing pad can be zipped off and is also wipeable (is that a word?) and the back has a soft fleece padding.
A cozy warm bag for the Maxi Cosi.

This is a purple sleeping bag for our little princess. It has a zipper on the side.

We got this adorable baby crib from Paddy's sister but with 90ies style purple elephant print curtains. :) I wanted them in a neutral color so the next few kids can sleep in it too. I just took some simple white cotton fabric with little dots. I so love it and can't wait to put our little baby in it. Paddy put one of his Doozers in there for now (gotta love the Fraggles!).
This is her blanket. The baby block is still missing eyes and a curl on the head and I am going to embroider her name in the middle block, but the name is still a secret. And what if after all she is going to be a he...oh my. You never know. Ha ha...poor baby he will walk around in pink clothes then...Posted by Stefanie Panhuyzen at Sunday, September 02, 2007 1 comments
